Become a Prestigious Member of PSSCOOP
Eligibility
To become a member of PSSCOOP, individuals must meet certain eligibility criteria. Membership is open to all current and retired employees of the Nigerian Public Service, including federal, state, and local government agencies. Additionally, other Nigerian workers referenced or introduced by a cooperative member or a founding member are also welcome to apply. Applicants must be of legal age and sound mind, submit a completed application form, pay the required membership fee, and provide proof of employment or retirement.
Responsibilities of Membership
Membership at PSSCOOP comes with certain responsibilities that members are expected to uphold. These responsibilities include actively participating in the cooperative's activities, attending meetings, voting on important decisions, and serving on committees. Members are also responsible for paying their membership dues and any other fees on time. Additionally, members must comply with the provisions of the cooperative's rules and bylaws, as well as the principles and values that guide PSSCOOP.

Termination
Membership may be terminated for the following reasons:
- Non-payment of membership dues within the financial year.
- Violation of the cooperative’s principles or byelaws.
- Gross misconduct or actions that harm the cooperative.
- Resignation submitted in writing to the Board of Directors.
Members have the right to appeal a decision to terminate their membership to the General Meeting.
